Check my whole commentary on my blog! Inkish Kingdoms! (Wordpress)I do not believe John Smith is the new era hero or the biggest and more amazing hero, but at the end he was quite a bad ass. From being a light lamp he ended up being the destroyer of conquerors. If you ever watched “Heroes”, you will love this (the first season mainly), if you love x-men, you will love this too. They are not related, they are not a copy or anything, but they deal with the same type of topics: heroes, powers, destruction, and hope are always on one single person. These books have the perfect balance between “violence”, fights, battles, and emotions.

United as One Lorien Legacies Pittacus Lore Books Reviews
All I can say is WOW. Satisfactory ending with such hope for the future. The way to end the protagonist was unexpected but actually made a lot of sense. These young people were so mature beyond their years but in a way that was realistic and emphatic. Really enjoyed this series.
This is one of the best endings to a series that I have ever read. It solved all relevant conflicts of the plot without making the characters over powered or invincible. The ending was also realistic, not everyone was left unharmed, each character had to deal with what happened in their own ways. The ending is also open ended which leads me to believe there will most likely be another series that will branch off because of this one. Over all one of my all time favorite reads.
I liked every book from the Lorien Legacies series. Personally, The Fate of Ten was my favorite in the series. It was where things start rolling in. Everything seems hopeless as the Loric fight having a massive disadvantage. There was a certain way that was set up for the Mogs to be dealt with at the end of book 6 and I thought it seemed like a set up i couldn't wait to see play out. The main characters in this final installment of the series second guess the way things were set up in my eyes. I'd still say it's a good book, and well worth the read. I just think it could have been better if it played out just a bit differently.
Wow where to start. I have just spent the last four days reading all 7 books and honestly I feel a bit wrung out. First, let me say the first book was AWFUL. The first person passive it was written in was VERY hard to get past. However, the writing improved with each book. If I hadn’t watched the movie I probably wouldn’t have finished the series but boy am I glad I did. I want to say that that final battle was one of the best written of any book I’ve read yes even Harry Potter as blasphemous as that felt to write. I felt like I was legitimately watching a movie. Often with those final action scenes you think about how much better it would look live action and you wish you see it but with this book the action was so well done that you didn’t need a movie. An excellent series and an excellent book overall!
Normally if I read a book it's because I'm forced to. Truthfully, I can count the number of books that interested me on one hand. Till today. I bought this series as a whole not knowing if I would ever finish it. Today I did. What a ride! This coming from a 56 year old man. I can truly say that I didn't want the story to end. Thank you Pittacus Lore wherever you are, thank you for perfect ending. It was a very emotional closing for me. Seldom does an adventure end this well....
Amazing conclusion...I wish this series could keep going but every good thing must come to an end. This series took us through a roller coaster of emotions, surprises and a lot of action, even so that at the end I wanted more action. John was bad ass and lived up to the leader role in this final book. I can't say enough about this series. THE ONLY THING I WILL SAY IS PLEASE GIVE US A SPIN OFF SERIES. Hopefully with John and the others still in it cause it won't be the same without them.
The series started off as any normal series would but built to a great crescendo by the end of the first book. I was not excited about the series just yet but kept reading hoping for the best.
As the series progressed, I found that the characters were developed really well and that the underlying story was full of many surprises, twists, and turns. It is a very good series and provides something for just about everyone. I would highly recommend this series.
The only drawback -- in my mind only -- is the way the story ended -- and the direction of some of the "legacies". I don't want to influence or spoil it for others so I will let readers decide.
